Pneumatic Forklifts

Pneumatic lift trucks are known as pallet vehicles or pump trucks and are commonly used in warehouses and shipping plants to move materials on pallets. Pneumatic lifts include a set of metallic forks installed on a wheeled counterweight that has a pump. The pump is used to lift and lower the forks.

Visually check the pallet truck before loading. Make sure the wheels are clear of any potential obstructions. What's more, ensure the handle moves fluently and turns appropriately. Check the pallet prior to moving it to determine if it is stacked in a manner that minimizes the possibility of anything falling off during lifting. Discharge any air in the pump and drop the blades to the floor by squeezing the lever installed on the inside of the steel loop on the end of the lever. Run the forks into the slots in the pallet and make sure the blades are centered so that the palletsâ?? weight is evenly dispersed.

By pumping the pneumatic lift lever the forks will rise from the ground. Once there is full clearance, you can discontinue pumping as there is no need to raise the hoist to any further extent. To move the pallet lift, you can tow the handle behind you. It is not recommended to push the pallet vehicle. There will be a huge amount of momentum existing. Avoid quick or sharp turns and don't stop too suddenly. Gently bring the pallet to a stop where you would like to park it. Squeeze the handle within the grip end to return the forks to the ground. Pull out the forks from the pallet and return the pallet truck to its specified parking spot.
